Designers don't see margins. Applicators don't see customer pricing. Sales doesn't change production sign-offs. The role-permission map is configurable per shop, with sensible defaults that work day one.

- Owner — full access, gross profit visible
- Manager — pipeline + margin, no billing config
- Sales rep — leads, quotes, customers, no margins
- Designer — design queue, no pricing
- Printer / cutter — print queue + material logging

Every shop on Signage Platform runs in its own isolated PostgreSQL schema. There's no shared customer table, no shared design library — your data lives behind your subdomain only. Daily backups, af-south-1 region option for POPIA-friendly residency. The platform is built so a careless query in one shop can't reach another shop's data, full stop.
